Games design project- Creating an update

If I were to design/create an update for Minecraft I would make it so you are able to ride the dragons, this will allow players to get around their Minecraft world in a more swift way and also attack mobs when riding at night. Although there are mods that allow this to happen, I would like to make it an actual thing in the game so everyone is able to do it since younger children may not know how to get mods for Minecraft.

Along with this idea, i would add different types of dragons such as: Fire dragons, Water dragons, Lighting dragons, Ice dragons, Earth dragons. They will spawn in certain biomes for example the fire dragons would spawn near lava, Lightning dragons will spawn in stormy weather  etc.

To actually ride the dragons, you will need to of course tame them first and then create a mount to then ride them. Once you are able to ride the dragon, you can then perform their attack by pressing a certain button depending on what device you are playing on.

Although you are not able to ride baby dragons since it wouldn't really make sense to since they are smaller than the character itself

The reason I kept the taming process the same as taming any other animal in the game is because I wouldn't want to change that process and make it too complex to do since the game has younger people who play and I wouldn't want to over complicate things, making it too hard for them to do.

Fire Dragon- Tamed using coal

Water Dragon- Tamed using raw fish

Earth Dragon- Tamed using apples

                        Can breed with other Earth                                dragons using apples

Lightning Dragon- Tamed using a Blaze rod

                              Can breed with other                                        lighting dragons using                                      blaze rod

Ice Dragon- Tamed using a snowball

                    Can breed with other ice                              dragons using snowballs

They all have unique looks and have colour schemes fitting to the biome they each spawn in.

Each dragon will need a certain item or even food to allow players to tame them. This will be the same process as taming any other animal in the game so it should be nothing new to players.

However if the dragons are hit they shall attack players back and may retaliate in different ways depending on which dragon it is. 

If the ice dragon is hit, It shall attack back but the player will freeze for several seconds before returning back to combat. These dragons will spawn in snow biomes.

When attacking the fire dragon, it breathes fire to the player as its attack.

The Earth dragon shoots venom when it has been attacked and you are then poisoned for 10 seconds, taking the maximum of 4 health.

Water dragons emit powerful bubbles from their mouth to 

Lastly the lightning dragon strikes players with a streak of lightning in return when being attacked.

I think that the items that are needed are pretty easy to get meaning everyone has a chance to tame a dragon and it won't be too hard for anyone to do so.
