Final project - Story Board

Image
A Story board will help directors vision what will happen in the video. A director will start by visualizing the script in their mind or doing rough drawings. Here is the first page of my story board. This gives a description of what will happen in each scene and what shot type and shot angle will be used, this will be helpful for the cameraman and actor so they can keep track of what is going on.

Character Art

Character Art Here are some drawings of ideas for my character. They all have different features such as: Colour schemes, button arrangements and facial expressions. They have different shades of the same colour on each of them for example the top part of the character is a darker shade of the colour than the body. Personally I just think that it works well for this certain character. For some of them I added brighter colours for the buttons just to add more colour to it rather than it only having two shades of the same colour. Although for the blue one, the buttons are an even lighter shade of blue however I still think that it works out well since the buttons are still standing out as its a light colour. This is the basic outline of my character before I added colour. I then tested different colours until I found a colour scheme that I liked the most. I did this for each drawing. 3D drawings Here are 3D drawings of my character. This gives a better view and shows extra detail o...

Final Project pre production - Location scouting & Risk Assessment

Location Scouting                                                                This is my location scouting form. Location scouting is where you go out to look for a location to use for your production. You would most likely have done a little bit of research already but you might have to see the location in person to make sure it suits the production well. The location can be any place of your choice whether its outside or inside e.g your house , a park etc. The location scouter will know what they are looking for when it comes to searching for a place to record. In my location scouting form it gives information on where I will be recording, pros and cons of  the location, if extra equipment will be needed. Overall this will really help to decide if you should use the location or find somewhere else. Risk Assessment Healt...

Final Major Project: Pre Production

Gantt Chart Today I have made a Gantt chart on what work I will complete within certain weeks. This will help me keep on track and help me complete work on time.  I chose times that I think suit me best and are more convenient for me. Gantt charts are a way of planning and showing activities displayed against time. On the left of the chart is a list of the work and along the top are the dates. Each activity is represented by a bar with a dedicated colour; the position and length of the bar reflects the start date, duration and end date of the activity. To the far right there is a key representing what each colour means.
