 Nintendo Switch

Over the past years, nintendo have bought out 3 nintendo switches:
nintendo switch
nintendo switch lite
nintendo switch- OLED model (most recent)

Nintendo switch (2017)

Nintendo Switch has a controller on each side of the console that function together: the Joy-Con.

If you attach the two Joy-Con to the Joy-Con grip, it will work like a traditional controller, and without the grip they work as two individual, fully-functioning controllers.

The IR Motion Camera in the right Joy-Con can detect the shape, movement and distance of objects captured by the camera.

For example, it can recognise the shape of players’ hands, such as when you make a rock, paper or scissors.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    You then have the dock to put the console in to connect to the tv. At the side there is also 2 usb ports where you can connect accessories such as the pro controller etc. A the back of the dock if you open the back over, you will find the HDMI port, another usb port and a ac adapter port you can then hide the wires by closing the cover. This just hides any cable mess and makes it look a lot neater which is a nice feature.                                                                                                                          This nintendo switch has TV mode, tabletop mode and handheld mode which pretty much allows you to play games anywhere.                                                                  All nintendo switch games are able to be played.

Nintendo switch lite  (2019)                                                                                       The nintendo switch lite is a handheld only console. Unlike the first switch and the OLED, joy con controllers are not included therefore the system does not include HD rumble or IR motion camera and it is not able to connect to a tv meaning you can only play games that support hand held mode.                                                     Is not compatible with nintendo switch dock.                                                               The scren is also smaller since it is 3.6” high, 8.2” long, and .55” deep where as the nintendo switch is 4” high, 9.4” long, and  .55” deep (with Joy-Con attached)

Nintendo switch OLED model  (2021)                                                   like the first switch, the OLED model has Tv mode, tabletop mode and handheld mode and can play all nintendo switch games.                                                            The biggest difference is that it has a  7-inch OLED display, which has less bezel and makes images come through brighter and crisper and it also comes in a new white colour.
