mock exam

The thing that i struggled with in the test was a mixture of both math and programming questions.  I need to remind myself on the things we learnt at the start of the year so i can become more familiar with it.

Technology- Games Design

Nintendo Switch Over the past years, nintendo have bought out 3 nintendo switches: nintendo switch nintendo switch lite nintendo switch- OLED model (most recent) Nintendo switch (2017) Nintendo Switch  has a controller on each side of the console that function together: the  Joy-Con . If you attach the two  Joy-Con  to the  Joy-Con  grip, it will work like a traditional controller, and without the grip they work as two individual, fully-functioning controllers. The IR Motion Camera in the right  Joy-Con  can detect the shape, movement and distance of objects captured by the camera. For example, it can recognise the shape of players’ hands, such as when you make a rock, paper or scissors.                                                                        ...

playtesting

9 child st 9 Childs St - is a demo horror game . You play as a child who began to notice strange things in an abandoned house opposite in which an old toy creator lived, and somehow at night secretly from his parents, taking only a flashlight, he decided to see what was happening in this house.  This game was really fun to play with a few jump scares and amazing sounds to bring an even scarier atmosphere. Has good graphics and would definitely play the full game when its complete since its only a demo that's out right now. Would be better if things like draws could open and find more things. There was little about the story but maybe that's because it was only the demo? I think the purpose of the game is to tell a story but mainly to give players a frightening experience/sensation when playing the game

matricies

Image
A matrix  (whose plural is matrices) is a rectangular array of numbers, symbols, or expressions, arranged in rows and columns. A matrix with  m m  rows and  n n  columns is called an  m × n m × n  matrix or  m m -by- n n  matrix, where  m m  and  n n  are called the matrix dimensions. Matrices can be used to compactly write and work with multiple linear equations, that is, a system of linear equations. Matrices and matrix multiplication reveal their essential features when related to linear transformations, also known as linear maps. subtraction division start by inversing the second matrix so for a 2x2 matrix we start by swapping the first and last number and putting negatives in front of the second and third numbers [5  7] [6  8] would become  [8  -7] [-6  5] you then have to divide every entry by what is called the deterinant finding the determinant is just simple maths applied to the mat...

Animation- body frames

Image
Today we made body frames in blender To make this you have to add armature and select single bones and create a structure of a human body.  In order to make the arms you should start off by making a collar bone and extrude from the end to form the upper arm. Then at the end of the upper arm you need to extrude it again, this creates the lower arm. You can then extrude again if you want to make a hand but it is optional. For the legs, it is pretty much the same process but instead you extrude from the groin area to form the thigh etc. Parent and child: When creating the structure, you have to parent the thigh bone and the lower middle bone.

Drawing with analogous colours

Image
With this drawing I used the adobe palette and chose to draw with analogous colours.            I then created a desert themed drawing and blended the colours to make a sunset.

Art- colour triangle

The fundamental rule of colour theory for painting is that there are three primary colours: red, blue and yellow. The second rule of colour theory is that mixing two primary colours together creates secondary colours, that is purples, oranges, and greens.
